Your inner child is the part of you that still feels and reacts like you did when you were young. It's not an actual child, but a part of your subconscious mind that holds your early experiences and emotions. This inner child shapes many of your feelings, thoughts, and actions today.​

The Two Sides of Your Inner Child
Wounded Inner Child: This part still carries the pain from past hurts, betrayals, or fears. When you were a child, if you felt rejected, shamed, or ridiculed, you might have started to believe negative things about yourself, such as:
Authentic Inner Child: This is the true essence of who you are. It includes your creativity, confidence, curiosity, and joy.
  • "I am not enough."​
  • "I am unlovable."​
  • "It's not safe to be myself."​
These deep beliefs from childhood wounding & unmet needs can affect how you feel and act as an adult way more than you realize. Here’s a few of the ways.  

  • People-Pleasing: Constantly seeking approval from others.​

  • Difficulty Setting Boundaries: Struggling to say "no" or protect your personal space.​

  • Perfectionism: No matter how hard you try you never feel good enough

  • Overachievement: Pushing yourself excessively to prove your worth.​

  • 5 Keys to Healing: Explore five important steps to heal your inner child.
  • Gentle Connection through journaling and art with your inner child.

(Friday Evening) Session 1: Connection & Calm

Objective: Understand how your childhood experience shaped your behaviors & beliefs about yourself, the world and people.

Activities:
  • Childhood attachment styles & injuries, core beliefs & behavior patterns holding you back as an adult.​
  • Discover who you truly are, identifying what matters most in your life.
  • Connecting: Use journaling and mindfulness to connect with your inner child.​

(Saturday AM) Session 2: Curiosity & Clarity

Objective: To talk with your inner child and create a loving, safe space where they feel seen and heard. 

Activities:
  • Calming the Nervous System: Learn and practice techniques to help your body feel safe and relaxed.
  • Deep Connection Exercises: Participate in guided activities to bond closely with & heal your inner child.

(Saturday PM) Session 3: Courage, Compassion

Objective: To release feelings like resentment, anger, and shame stored in your body.

Activities:

  • Somatic Breathwork: Practice deep breathing exercises to help you process and release difficult emotions.
  • Intuitive Body Movement: Engage in natural movements that promote a sense of freedom and inner peace.

(Sunday AM) Session 4: Release & Let Go

Objective: Integrate the skills and insights gained throughout the workshop. 

Activities:
  • Reflection on personal growth and progress made.
  • Creation of an action plan to continue inner child healing beyond the workshop.​
  • Closing Celebration Ceremony with Inner Child.

(Sunday PM) Session 5: Confidence, Creativity

Objective: Provide ongoing support and address post-workshop experiences.

Activities:

Inner Child Healing is something I’m personally passionate about.

Back in 2019, at the age of 42, I had a rock-bottom moment that led me to seek help. I was depressed, angry, and shameful, which caused a lot of pain and suffering for myself and my loved ones.

I learned I had childhood trauma and that I was not broken, but wounded. I went on to heal and transform the child parts of myself which, at their core, felt unloved, unworthy, and all alone.

As a result, I was able to:
  • Come off antidepressants,
  • Quit binge drinking,
  • Transform toxic relationships, and
  • Go after a dream business—all because I formed a loving and nurturing relationship with this child within!

This was so POWERFUL that I just knew I had to help others do this too.

In the past four years of my Coaching Practice, I’ve helped so many people heal their inner child and transform their lives. I want to help you become the Hero & Healer to that little one inside as well!

That is OK. You don’t need to remember specific memories or details of your childhood to get healing benefits from inner child work.

Yes. You don't need to have had an extremely traumatic or abusive childhood to benefit from inner child healing. The truth is you may have formed wounds and limiting beliefs due to unmet needs as a child that you’re unaware of even with the most well intentioned upbringing.
